Let's Get Sciencey About Motor Oil
Liqui Moly will be joing us at Forced Induction providing lunch and a short session on motor oil and automotive lubricants, demystifying all the tech stuff as well as the good and bad information that flies around the internet.
Fun fact: Did you know that the basis of their product is molybdenum sulfide an additive that allowed piston & radial military aircraft to continue operating for a short period of time allowing them to land if their engine oil tanks were shot.
Do It Yourself (DIY) Program Overview
The Do It Yourself (DIY) program allows National Capital Chapter (NCC) BMW Car Club of America (CCA) Members to work on their own cars at a professional service facility. Our sponsors can provide technical guidance (although they don't do the work). There are always several NCC members who can assist you when an extra pair of hands along with their expertise.
We love newcomers! We are happy to show newcomers the joys of working on your own car. Bring your car, some basic tools and and a learning attitude. Most events usually start at 8 am and finish at 2 pm. Morning coffee and lunch for the event is provided..
